Kelsea and Dale said 'I do' in front of their family and friends at the gorgeous chapel at Santa Maria College. Following the ceremony we strolled around Fremantle for portraits where Kelsea's bridesmaids, wearing stunningly unique dresses by TY-LR, literally stopped traffic. No really, they seriously did stop traffic. I had a moment to myself to think about what makes an awesome bridesmaid and Kelsea's girls are it. They didn't complain about the heat or the fact we walked around Fremantle (in the sun and the sand and up and down stairs) for hours, and the entire time they were funny and sassy and downright gorgeous. That's how it's done ladies.
Around golden hour we made our way to Bathers Beach House for their reception which was kicked off with funny speeches that induced laughter and joyful tears, and then it launched into dance floor antics to the sounds of Double Shots Duo (they did a mean acoustic version of Baby Got Back that had me dancing behind the camera).
A beautiful summer's wedding enjoyed in one of my favourite spots in town. I do love a Freo wedding.
By the way, if you're thinking you'd like your wedding day on video, get in touch with Melissa of Bird on the Wall. I watched the video she made for Kelsea and Dale and literally cried. Twice.
